Test & Verification Engineer

Contract: Perm contract with Randstad company

Hours a week: 40 hrs

Your Role: Become an integral part of a multidisciplinary team comprising highly skilled technical specialists dedicated to innovative (automated) test solution projects. Spanning the entire product life cycle – from development and manufacturing to maintenance – you'll collaborate with senior Test architects, SW architects (automation), and other T&V Engineers from both our organization and our customers' organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, execute, and archive objective, reproducible, and maintainable test designs and protocols/procedures.

• Design Verification and Product verification. Guides the selection of the most effective test design techniques.

• Defines acceptance tests for verification of requirements with shared responsibility for project scope, requirements and risks.

• Measures key progress indicators including: requirement coverage, test protocol effectiveness, test execution and defect identification and closure. Concludes on available data to monitor progress, identify risk, and judge release readiness and release quality.

• Conduct tests to verify functionality (performance, reliability, security, compliance) based on a risk-based strategy and formally report the results.

• Document test plans, protocols, and reports.

• Review product requirements, designs, and changes from a test perspective, liaising with stakeholders to ensure testable and maintainable systems.

Your Team: Join the Test and Verification Engineering team within the Quality & Reliability Engineering department of Philips Innovation Engineering. A diverse group of over 25 technical experts located in Eindhoven (NL) and Pune (India), actively supporting complex, innovative projects for Philips businesses worldwide.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science / Electrical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering or related technical degree, or equivalent professional engineering experience with 3-5 years of relevant experience in Test & Verification in highly regulated environments (e.g., medical, automotive, or aerospace).

• Expertise in Design and Product Verification process.

• Hands-on experience in testing the hardware components in a Laboratory environment.

• Proficient in test design techniques and planning, with ownership of test design and execution.

• Familiarity with ISO13485 Medical Device directives is a plus.
