Electrical / Software Equipment Engineer (Contract)

Salary range: €3500 - €4500
In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Make life better! In this role, you challenge the design, engineering, and improvement of new and existing electrical appliances, test boxes, and test systems. You will lead multidisciplinary projects, ensuring technical, financial, and safety requirements are met for manufacturing equipment.

You will be responsible for:
Designing, Engineering, documenting, and improving new and/or existing electrical appliances, test boxes, and test systems.
Leading the project and monitoring the execution, progress, and costs of multidisciplinary projects (Electrical, Mechanical, and Software).
Managing engineers during assembly or installation work, and performing hands-on assembly or installation in person.
Creating drawings and schematics (assembly and mono drawings), bills of materials, and technical documentation, and archiving this data in the technical file (TPD).
Translating client demands and wishes into a feasible technical and financial specification, including requirements for safety, ergonomics, and standards.
Creating a budget and planning for projects and providing regular progress reports to the customer.
Bearing responsibility for the aftercare of a project, including drafting maintenance instructions and determining spare parts stock.
Being the go-to person on (electrical) safety.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
Experienced engineer (4-8 years) with working experience in a development and/or production organization for professional industrial products.
Labview/Python knowledge and experience is mandatory.
Excellent knowledge of relevant safety standards, including NEN3140, Machine directive, Low voltage directive, ISO13849, ISO12200, and IEC60825.
Experience with Eplan is a plus.
Project management skills.
Dutch native and English language skills (verbal and in writing).
Proven customer focus, a drive for quality and reliability, and a strong problem-solver.
Excellent documentation skills, as we work in a highly regulated industry.
Willingness to work primarily on-site to support the manufacturing department.
