Service Innovation Engineer (Contract)

Location: Best, Netherlands

Duration Assignment: 12 months (with possible extension)

Contract: via a Randstad company

Hours/week: 40 Budget range: €3500 - €5700

In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Make life better! In this role, you challenge the quality and commercial priorities of our Image Guided Therapy Systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies. You will contribute to service compliancy through CAPA service engineering, order booking analysis, and continuous process improvements.

You will be responsible for:

  • Supporting CAPA investigations and performing service engineering for corrections and corrective actions.

  • Analyzing relevant service processes and work orders, and interacting with various markets.

  • Creating and updating Service Innovation Engineer deliverables within our Quality Management System to continuously raise service quality standards.

  • Running and validating TechMax core block order booking reports and following up on any defects.

  • Integrating multi-disciplinary approaches and fundamental service innovation principles to develop robust solutions for technical challenges.

  • Representing the service organization in product development to improve and secure the serviceability of new products.

  • Providing recommendations to enhance component serviceability based on defined service requirements.

  • Applying advanced technical expertise to address complex problems and challenges.

  • Cultivating a collaborative and innovative work environment.


To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering: Electronics, Mechatronics with an emphasis on E&SW, Software, Data engineering, Information Systems, or Computer Science.

  • Well organized, analytic, self-propelling, and a strong communicator.

  • A team player with a quality-focused mindset.

  • High level of English language proficiency. Dutch language skills are a plus.

  • Willingness to work a minimum of 3 days a week in the office.
