Electrical Design EngineerRole Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Design Engineer to support the design, development, and validation of medical device components. In this role, you will analyze engineering requirements, develop innovative design solutions, and ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards. You will also contribute to testing, troubleshooting, and continuous product improvement while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze engineering requirements and develop effective design solutions for medical device components while working under general supervision.

  • Develop and execute test plans, procedures, and validation protocols to ensure designs meet performance, quality, and regulatory standards.

  • Prepare and maintain accurate design documentation, including specifications, test results, and validation reports in compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Implement design improvements based on testing outcomes and evaluation activities to enhance product performance and efficiency.

  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues across hardware, software, and system components, minimizing downtime and ensuring reliable product performance.

  • Participate in design reviews and technical discussions, providing expert recommendations to improve design quality and processes.

  • Ensure adherence to company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements, while guiding and mentoring junior engineers.

  • Evaluate components and technologies from external vendors and suppliers for potential integration into medical devices.

  • Monitor system and component performance to identify opportunities for improvement and lead initiatives to optimize reliability.

  • Build strong cross-functional relationships, share technical knowledge, and contribute to engineering projects within the medical device domain.

Required Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, or equivalent

  • Alternatively, Vocational Education in Information Technology or related field

Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree: No prior experience required

  • Vocational Education: Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in areas such as:

    • System Architecture

    • System Design

    • Hardware Engineering
