Technical Project Manager - Mechatronic Systems
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Technical Project Manager to lead the development of advanced equipment and mechatronic systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering and project management, with a proven track record of successfully managing complex technical projects from concept through to completion. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, leadership, and excellent project management skills.
Key Responsibilities
Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, and supply chain.
Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
Identify and manage project risks, implementing mitigation strategies where necessary.
Ensure all project documentation is complete, current, and stored appropriately.
Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular project updates and addressing any issues or concerns.
Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and other stakeholders.
Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across departments and external partners.
Oversee the technical development of equipment and mechatronic systems, ensuring designs meet performance, reliability, and compliance requirements.
Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, leveraging your expertise in engineering principles and practices.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovative solutions and best practices.
Conduct post-project evaluations, identifying areas for improvement and lessons learned.
Implement feedback and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance future project performance.
Requirments
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or a related field). A Master's degree or PMP certification is a plus.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, specifically in the development of equipment and/or mechatronic systems.
Strong technical background with hands-on experience in mechatronics, robotics, or related fields.
Proven ability to manage complex projects, from conception to completion, within budget and on schedule.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project or equivalent).
Familiarity with relevant industry and medical standards and compliance regulations.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
