We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Technical Project Manager to lead the development of advanced equipment and mechatronic systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering and project management, with a proven track record of successfully managing complex technical projects from concept through to completion. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, leadership, and excellent project management skills.


Key Responsibilities

  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.

  • Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, and supply chain.

  • Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards.

  • Identify and manage project risks, implementing mitigation strategies where necessary.

  • Ensure all project documentation is complete, current, and stored appropriately.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular project updates and addressing any issues or concerns.

  • Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and other stakeholders.

  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across departments and external partners.

  • Oversee the technical development of equipment and mechatronic systems, ensuring designs meet performance, reliability, and compliance requirements.

  • Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, leveraging your expertise in engineering principles and practices.

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovative solutions and best practices.

  • Conduct post-project evaluations, identifying areas for improvement and lessons learned.

  • Implement feedback and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance future project performance.


Requirments

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or a related field). A Master's degree or PMP certification is a plus.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, specifically in the development of equipment and/or mechatronic systems.

  • Strong technical background with hands-on experience in mechatronics, robotics, or related fields.

  • Proven ability to manage complex projects, from conception to completion, within budget and on schedule.

  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project or equivalent).

  • Familiarity with relevant industry and medical standards and compliance regulations.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.


You will be employed by the Randstad and work on assignment with Philips.
