Test and Verification Engineer (Contract)
Location: Eindhoven, NL
Duration Assignment: 12 months (with possible extension)
Contract: via a Randstad company
Hours/week: 40
Budget range: 3800 EUR - 5300 EUR
In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Make life better!In this role, you challenge the complexity of testing and verification in health technology. You will join a multidisciplinary team of technical specialists working on innovative automated test solution projects, covering every phase of the product life cycle.

You will be responsible for:
Creating, reviewing, and optimizing test designs, reusable test protocols, and test procedures to ensure complete functional and non-functional test coverage for multiple projects and products concurrently.
Developing and conducting tests to verify functionality (performance, reliability, security, compliance) based on a risk-based strategy, against design input requirements, and formally reporting the results.
Documenting test plans, protocols, and reports.
Reviewing product requirements, designs, and product changes from a test point of view, liaising with stakeholders to create testable and maintainable systems.
Converting requirements into test specifications and tester designs.
Planning and executing test strategies and protocols in a timely manner.
Managing stakeholder communication across teams, including functional managers, project managers, test architects, systems architects, development engineers, external test labs, and customers.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:
Master’s (MSc) degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in professional engineering.
Experience in a highly regulated environment, preferably in the medical device industry.
Professional experience in Design Verification and Product Verification.
Strong knowledge of Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
Expertise in defining acceptance tests and test design techniques.
Hands-on mentality with a focus on ownership and timely execution.
Experience with Measurement System Analyses (MSAs).
Knowledge of ISO13485 Medical Device directive is a plus.
Excellent analytical and structured approach with adaptability to change.
Strong stakeholder management skills.
Open to occasional travel.
