Electric & Electronics (EE) engineer (Contract)
Location: Eindhoven, Netherlands
Duration Assignment: 12 months (with possible extension)
Contract: via a Randstad company

Salary range: €4000 - €6000
In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Make life better! In this role, you challenge the design and development of specific Electrical and Electronic aspects of Philips Image Guided Therapy (IGT) systems. You will be responsible for delivering robust solutions to complex engineering challenges, ranging from EMC design and power supplies to cable routing and user interfaces.

You will be responsible for:
Interpreting high-level requirements to derive or append design solutions within provided scope and timelines.
Providing technical solutions demonstrating independent conceptual thinking for subsystems like power supplies, relays, and IT hardware layouts.
Delivering EMC compliant designs and implementing precaution and mitigation measures.
Developing and defining technical requirements and outlining comprehensive verification test plans.
Executing hands-on testing in the laboratory, evaluating test set-ups, and troubleshooting independently.
Assessing components and solutions from external vendors to ensure they meet Philips quality and safety standards.
Performing systematic risk and safety compliance assessments, including FMEA and reliability analysis.
Pro-actively aligning with cross-functional teams such as mechanical, norm compliance, quality, and project management.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience (not suitable for career starters).
EMC domain knowledge and experience with techniques for preventing or containing emissions.
Familiarity with power electronics and a track record of hands-on lab experience using oscilloscopes and diagnostic equipment.
Excellent design documentation skills and a high level of technical English (written and verbal).
Analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving and the ability to work independently.
Preferred: Experience with Agile/SAFe, Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt), or circuit simulation tools like LTSpice.
