To strengthen our Systems Engineering competence and staff the innovation projects that follow on the introduction of our first "medical product".

To succeed in the role of Systems Engineer, you need:
A Master's degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Physics or (Bio)Mechanical Engineering or a comparable subject
At least 5 years of experience in a lead engineer role, managing complexity across involving multiple domains
A track record of projects you have driven to success
Sound knowledge of and experience with modeling / simulation methods & tools
Solid experience with consumer product development
Strong experience with requirements management tools
The capability to translate user and business requirements into product requirements and high level product design and to check and optimize integration and verification
Experience with root-cause analysis of production problems and consumer complaints
 

A strong quality mindset: you don't accept underperformance or poor results
Abstract, analytical and creative thinking skills
Excellent communication skills (English)
Motivation skills and persuasiveness
Good collaboration skills, since you will be working with many disciplines and people from various companies across the world
 

Furthermore, it is strongly preferred that you have experience with:
Development of medical products or products in another strongly regulated industry
Ensuring full product safety risk management in a regulation compliant manner
Design for Six Sigma: being trained and having applied the approach to produce robust designs
Lifecycle management
