Role: System Engineer
Contract: Via Randstad Company
Duration: 1-year contract with the possibility of conversion
Your role:
As a seasoned system engineer with practical knowledge of requirement management, you will advise and guide the team to enter the requirements correctly into the requirement management tool. You'll support the group as we switch from the current tool to JAMA Soft. The crew will be trained on new options and methods for using the tool.
Your team:
You will be part of the System Engineering group within MR R&D. This team of highly skilled technical engineers is responsible for MR system design, including system requirements, subsystem and component decomposition, interface management, regulatory compliance, and overall technical leadership. The team ensures quality and compliance throughout the full systems product release and life cycle management.
Key Responsibilities:
Support System Engineering in establishing, maintaining, and enhancing product requirements and design structures.
Collaborate with system engineers to implement standardized practices, ensuring high-quality output aligned with project needs.
Drive, manage, and contribute to improvement initiatives within the domain, including tool evaluations and introductions.
Manage tools related to requirements management, such as ALM and JAMA software.
Own and maintain sections of product and sub-system requirements and design documentation.
Assist with regulatory activities to ensure compliance with applicable medical standards and regulations.
Support life cycle management, complaint investigations, and post-market surveillance activities.
Actively advance and maintain our system engineering practices.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline with a minimum of 5+ years of sound experience in system engineering from a regulated industry.
Proven experience in requirements management for high-tech systems in a corporate and global environment.
Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a multifunctional team and align diverse stakeholders.
Demonstrated project management skills to manage improvement projects in structure, tooling, and/or ways of working within a multifunctional team spread across global locations.
Experience with healthcare regulations and regulatory bodies like the FDA is an advantage but not mandatory
Experience in Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE) and SysML modeling is an advantage not mandatory
