You will be responsible for:

As a Systems Engineer, you deliver high quality (subsystems of) products, by meeting user and business requirements, managing complexity, technical leadership, and stakeholder management. You are accountable for ensuring the product development team follows the V-model process to ensure products exceed consumer expectations and are reliable in the field. You are responsible for the correct translation of business and user requirements into product requirements. In addition, you team up with subject matter experts to set correct element and part requirements. You are responsible for creation of product verification strategy, reviewing verification results to confirm product requirements are met and identifying and mitigating areas of technical risk by following the product design FMEA process. To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

  • Minimum-Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Biomedical Engineering, Masters Degree (Desired)

  • Minimum 5 years experience in a regulated product development/systems environment 

  • Knowledgeable in product Verification/Validation (V&V)

  • Experienced in Technical Risk Assessment/FMEA 

  • Requirements management focus/experience using DOORS or similar system, 

  • Ensuring product development compliant to Subpart C of the Quality System Regulation (preferred)

  • Experience in Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) methods/tools 

  • (Preferred)Strong Communication and Presentation skills: Ability to present technical data/concepts concisely and effectively to various audiences/stakeholders. 

  • Detailed/ Structured documentation practices and decision making,
