Senior Software Technologist I,Job Responsibilities: Acts as the technical coach for a team or domain, being recognized and approached by team members for expertise and guidance, ensures consistent application of best practices and high standards across projects. Sets quality goals and development practices with the team, driving continuous improvement and excellence in software development through rigorous standards and methodologies. Integrates software components and third-party libraries into existing systems, ensuring seamless functionality and interoperability with minimal disruption. Conducts and participates in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers and ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices to maintain code quality. Analyzes and optimizes application performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks to enhance user experience and system efficiency, ensuring the software meets performance benchmarks. Stays current with emerging technologies and industry trends, incorporating new tools and methodologies to improve development processes and product quality. Develops software to log and store performance data, usage, errors, etc., enabling continuous monitoring of solutions and products for improved reliability and performance. Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and QA engineers, to define, design, and ship new features, ensuring alignment with project goals and user needs. Resolves a wide range of moderate complexity requests in creative ways, demonstrating good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Programming languages and frameworks: C#, .NET 8 & above, Python (Good to have) Experience with AWS services, including ECS, EKS, S3, ALBs, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS Web frameworks: .NET MVC Tools, Libraries: Entity Framework, Restful APIs, X Unit. Source Control System: TFS, Github CICD tools: Terraform, Github Actions Should have good memory management, design for performance, and multithreading experience Experience and Qualification: B. E / B. Tech / M. C. A with 8-10 years progressive work related experience with demonstrated proficiency in multiple disciplines/ technologies/processes related to the position. Ability to work in multi-disciplinary, multi-cultural teams. Proven ability to balance concurrent activities. Strong knowledge and experience in software development in an Agile environment. Good understanding of benchmark software engineering practices Excellent communication skills. Ability to present technical/complex issues to various audiences Ability to influence peers and counterparts often in other Philips locations Strong abstraction, analytical and problem-solving skills Experience in working on distributed enterprise software Expertise on various design patterns implementation,The PRS Citrix team has a new scope for the year 2026, the Omnichannel/Device Manager Program.
