  • Responsibilities

    • Gain agreement on and achieve project goals, balancing scope, schedule, budget, quality, resources, and risks.

    • Monitor the business case with a focus on maximizing project benefits and business impact.

    • Lead diverse project teams, empowering efficiency and effectiveness.

    • Build partnerships with stakeholders, leveraging them to achieve goals and negotiate solutions.

    • Investigate customer expectations and respond to feedback.

    • Contextualize organizational goals, recognize opportunities, and turn them into business value.

    • Monitor project activities, balance risk-taking, and issue escalation, and set up progress reports with corrective actions for the steering team.

    • Ensure Philips standards (PBS and PEPF) are adopted.

    • Initiate, plan, and execute multi-discipline projects per agreed conditions on specification, time, cost, and staffing.

    • In Workday, specify elements of the product, service, or solution to be delivered.

    • Demonstrate entrepreneurial skills, emotional intelligence, and business acumen.

    • Drive team collaboration, motivate team members, and integrate resources effectively.

    • Manage internal stakeholders and external subcontractors, responding to their needs professionally and valuing their feedback.

    • Lead medium complex (agile) projects with at least two disciplines/sites and/or multiple sub-projects.

    • Think ahead about decision consequences and determine when to escalate issues/risks.

    • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify project risks and issues, engage in considerate risk-taking, and manage risk escalations.

    • Apply daily management and problem-solving, define critical activities in terms of business value, and identify knowledge gaps.

    • Responsible for project goals, key process decisions, and stakeholder alignment for medium projects.



  • Experience

    • 3-5 years of relevant work experience, including leading work streams from idea to implementation with evidence of business impact.

    • Project Manager certification is advantageous.

    • Experience in the medical devices domain is advantageous.
