Product Industrialization Engineer

Do you want to play a key role in the introduction of new medical products? 

As Product Industrialization Engineer, you are the representative of product industrialization in multi-disciplinary teams ensuring best in class transfer of production line(s) and transition from development to manufacturing. 

In this role, you have the opportunity to

• Work on Manufacturing Transfer and later as well on New Product Introduction (NPI) projects 

• Develop and improve processes, tools and equipment of the Manufacturing systems within the PDLM cycle, leading to predictable, reliable, stable and efficient production processes.

You are responsible for
As Product Industrialization Engineer, you:
- Are responsible for the release (verification and validation), development and improvement of processes, tools and equipment of the Manufacturing systems, leading to predictable, reliable, stable and efficient production processes (Process and tool validation documents; PFMEA, TMV, etc.)
- Are the catcher of Manufacturing Transfer projects for production site Best (NL)
- Are responsible for preparation & release of Manufacturing DMR (Work Instruction, DHR)
- Ensure adherence to the applicable process for product introductions, qualifications, and release
- Are accountable for process and manufacturing requirements based on product specifications and test requirements from R&D
- Are accountable for the process and equipment capability that meets these requirements
- Are accountable for Manufacturing BOM and routing Master data until release to shipment
- Are accountable for establishing inspection and test criteria for Philips owned components and assemblies.
- Initiate and oversee process development activities in the context of product being transferred from pitcher to catcher site
- Orchestrates design for Lean manufacturing with according inputs to PDLM workflows.

You are part of
You will be part of the product industrialization team for DXR located in Best.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
• Bachelor or Master degree (mechanics, electronics, mechatronics, industrial engineering, or similar)
• 3-5 years’ experience in similar role.
• Willingness to travel. 6 to 8 weeks a year.
• Work experience in manufacturing transfer and New Product Introduction projects
• Experience with process and tool validation and documentation (PMAP, PFMEA, IQ, OQ, PQ)
• Hands on experience with PFMEA, Lean Manufacturing
• Continuous improvement mindset and a result driven and quality driven approach
• Strong personal & communication skills in English
