Description:

As a Physical Distribution Manager, you will be part of the European Warehouse and Distribution team for Personal Health. Based in Eindhoven, you will regularly visit the regional distribution center in Venray. Your primary responsibility is to oversee the execution of physical distribution activities from our regional distribution centers in Europe (NL and HU) in collaboration with our 3PL partners. The objective is to ensure timely, complete, and high-quality deliveries within the agreed budget.

The Role:

You will monitor, control, and optimize physical distribution operations while fostering cross-functional collaboration to drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performance Monitoring: Monitor and control physical distribution activities at the distribution centers, working closely with commercial, supply chain, and IT teams to enhance performance.

• Delivery Management: Manage deliveries and product flows to and from the distribution centers, ensuring adherence to budgets and service level agreements.

• Exception Handling: Support the resolution of exception flows, including claims management for inbound and outbound shipments, as well as reverse logistics.

• System Support: Provide first-line user and system support to maintain business and process continuity, especially for complex IT issues related to 3PL system interfaces.

• Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with logistics counterparts in the commercial organization, logistics service providers, supply chain teams, and IT departments to achieve business targets.

Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Physical Distribution or a related field.

• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in supply chain operations, such as warehouse or transport management.

• Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in SAP and TM-ID (TMS-Infodis) is required.

• Skills: Hands-on mentality, proactive, flexible, and independent. Strong ownership mindset.

• Collaboration: Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to create and maintain a robust network with internal customers, 3PLs, IT, and procurement.

• Results Orientation: A quality- and results-driven mindset.

• Resilience: Ability to perform effectively in a dynamic, high-pressure environment.
