Maintenance Reliability Engineer
Job description
In this role, you have the opportunity to make an important contribution to the optimal production of Philips shavers. We use complex, high-tech production processes to produce shaving systems with exceptional accuracy. Our working environment is dynamic and innovative. Production and technicians work in 5 shifts, this position concerns day shift.
Within the maintenance technical (OTD) department, the availability of machines is maximized through continuous improvement. This is supported by our TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) program. The maintenance reliability engineer is a key player in the team to continuously optimize maintenance strategy.
Your role
As a Maintenance Reliability Engineer, you support the OTD of the Shaving head finishing department in improving maintenance plans and machine performance. You implement improvements independently in consultation with the relevant Maintenance manager. Coordination and planning of various adjustments and major maintenance jobs are part of your duties. In addition to analysis skills, you have professional knowledge and insight in the field of maintenance engineering.
As a Maintenance Reliability Engineer, you are responsible for:
- Focus on the long term (1-2 years): Asset performance, risk and costs
- Data analyses and Root Cause Analyses (RCA) on performance killers and cost drivers
- RCAs on major disruptions
- Continuously improving installations and maintenance
- Planning and coordination of various projects in the field of equipment, maintenance and process.
- Training maintenance personnel in methods and applications
- Supporting Maintenance technicians (day shift)
- Knowledge carrier in the field of SAP
You're the right fit if
- You have completed a technical HBO education.
- In addition, you have at least 4 years of relevant work experience.
- You are fluent in Dutch (written and spoken) and have knowledge of the English language.
- Knowledge of and insight into Lean Manufacturing and TPM is a plus.
- You have experience with SAP.
