Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) Engineer is responsible for applying MBSE methodology within product development projects of Philips businesses.

In this role, from being on the front-end of Philips product development through MBSE deployment activities, you will be able to explore every aspect of MBSE and product development at Philips. To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:
5+ years of experience in an R&D environment in a regulated environment (a medical device company is strongly preferred),
You are all around System Engineer, an expert on Requirements Engineering and design.
You have experience with model-based systems engineering tools like Cameo, Jama Soft, Doors etc.
You have B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Software, System, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
You are an excellent communicator that can operate on different levels of architectural details with a hands-on mentality.

You will be a part of the Model-Based Systems Engineering competence group within the Innovation & Strategy central function, primarily located in the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven. The MBSE group comprises ~25 highly skilled and motivated MBSE professionals working on different projects across all Philips businesses. These projects can cover every phase of the product life cycle, from development, manufacturing, market deployment, operation, and maintenance to phase-out. You will also help to deploy MBSE capability throughout the global company by creating and providing training and coaching and/or leading a team of system engineers.
