Our DI/Imaging Chain Best participates in delivering best-in-class Anti Scatter Grid solutions for X-ray applications. This includes both process (3D Tungsten printing) as product development.
You are responsible for:
As Development Engineer you are responsible for leading innovation and projects developing solutions aimed at improving the patient experience within a hospital environment.
You will be part of a small team focused on DMLS (Direct Metal Laser Sintering, =3D Metal printing) technology and will play a key role in transferring customer requirements into a DMLS product that can be produced at reasonable costs. Since this is a rather new technology, the team will be challenged by various unexpected phenomena’s which need to give energy
You are a part of
An innovative and entrepreneurial team consisting of approximately 7 colleagues who collaborate closely with colleagues from operations, marketing and manufacturer of DMLS equipment. DMLS is a rather small business within a large Medical organization and you’ll take actively part in the whole chain, starting from detailed technical discussions with end-customer, till securing volume production at lowest costs.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:
• A Bachelor or Master degree in engineering (preference combination of mechanical & physics)
• Affinity with process development and physics.
• Strong deep technical skills (preferably DMLS knowledge / experience)
• Affinity with physics. Interest in DMLS / Metal sintering is relevant
• Experience in implementing Quality & Regulatory requirements and working within a regulated business;
• You love to collaborate, you have excellent communication skills (you get the commitment) and a customer centric attitude;
• Ability to deal with setbacks and use these for growing.
• You take Ownership, are Quality and Result driven, Organized, Accurate.
