Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer IGT
Location: Best, Netherlands (Hybrid possible)

Duration: 1 year with the possibility of extension

Your Role:
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will support, improve, and maintain the production process within the IGT Factory at Philips' Manufacturing Department in Best. You will be responsible for leading projects that enhance efficiency, optimize production flow, and contribute to our Industry 4.0 journey.
Key Responsibilities:
Define, implement, and lead projects to optimize production flow, focusing on lead time, costs, quality, and end-to-end processing.
Analyze performance data using Six Sigma and Statistical Process Control methodologies.
Explore and execute Industry 4.0 initiatives while considering the constraints of a low-volume factory with multiple configurations.
Release and validate new manufacturing processes.
Support New Product Introductions through early involvement and collaboration.
Write and instruct work instructions.
Provide structural solutions through amendments such as problem reports (PR) and 8D problem-solving methodologies.
Lead escalations regarding production issues and complaints in collaboration with development and other stakeholders.
Implement product changes through Life Cycle Management.
Act as an expert in audits and support process validation.
Conduct root cause analysis on Defect On Arrival (DEFOA) and Missing On Arrival (MOA) cases.
You're the Right Fit If You Have:
A Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Applied Physics, Mechatronics, or a comparable field.
A hands-on mentality with strong documentation skills and attention to detail.
The ability to work independently, take ownership, and manage stakeholders effectively.
A results- and quality-driven mindset.
Preferably experience with SAP (MES) and Windchill.
4+ years of experience in manufacturing or engineering within the high-tech industry.
Basic experience with Operational Technology (OT) and Information Technology (IT).
Strong analytical and summarization skills.
Experience with quality management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 13485, FDA requirements, audits, FMEA, 8D, SPC, etc.), preferably in the medical industry.
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with operators, developers, and management.
