Internal change and communications manager (Freelance)

You are responsible for:
Leading communications and engagements for internal programs (quality improvement, talent management in informatics, etc.), within the scope of the Innovation Transformation Program. The program impact Philips employees globally and you will be integral for ensuring they are aware of the program and the changes they need make in the specific program areas. This to accelerate our transformation into becoming a Health Technology solutions leader. You will be responsible for:
- Shape together with the team the communication and engagement strategy for the programs.
- Deploy the engagement/communication plan and evolve it based on the program needs and results achieved.
- Leading the communications workstream towards deliverables in an audience-based and agile way, with a focus on facilitating leader-led communications, complemented with mass communication.
- Be a trusted advisor to the Transformation Leader and workstream leads, and elevating messaging and stories as part of ongoing communications efforts.
- Support internal speaking engagements as they relate to the programs
- Drive, develop, review and deploy content- and key messaging (presentations, articles, key messaging, etc.).
- Sharing activities, assets and subject expertise with other communications colleagues for activation/amplification.
- Support innovation communications activities by taking ownership of transformational messages in leadership webcasts, all employee Town Halls and Yammer engagement
- Supporting change management, activation and adoption of programs across the enterprise.
- Continuously adapting and evolving our programs based on feedback results (two-way communication).
You are a part of
A small and focused Innovation Transformation Program team and will work closely with other internal communications teams, e.g., within Innovation & Strategy and other transformation programs like the Marketing Transformation.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
- Master Degree-level education, with at least 5-10 years of experience of internal communications in an international matrixed / business environment;
- Excellent English language writing skills and oral communication skills;
- Capable to quickly understand and support continuity in a running transformation program that is big and complex;
- Ability to navigate in a big organization, also in a virtual setting working from home;
- Likes to combine strategic thinking with pragmatic and hands-on mentality;
- Affinity and experience in Change-management in a complex, matrixed organization;
- Proven experience of leading successful employee engagement programs to support company transformation;
- Stakeholder management skills, experienced in providing senior counsel, to engage, align and manage expectations with a variety of different stakeholders in a content-driven organization;
- Strong project management skills and flexible mentality, ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously;
- Strong empathetic skills: listening, adopting right tone of voice, adapting your style according to the personalities involved;
- Experience working in healthcare and / or technology industries is an advantage;
