We are looking a HW Designer.
Requirements are:
-Extensive experience designing HW for embedded systems
-Extensive experience in prototyping, including skills for in-house small series production
-Extensive experience defining factory tests for production
-Highly communicative team player who can work independently
-Excellent documentation skills
-Hands-on mentality, able and willing to develop prototypes
-Well-developed sense of quality (product, process and hardware)
-HBO + level education in a relevant technical domain like Electrical Engineering
Tasks:
-In close cooperation with the System Architect and Product manager create reference designs and prototypes
-Improve existing designs with attention for Design for Cost, Design for Manufacturability, power consumption, and size
-Document design choices, create schematics and layouts in Kicad
-Create prototypes and small series with local manufacturers
-Work closely with mechanical designers to create appealing demonstrators/POC’s
-Support product management with documenting detailed specifications and requirements
-Review customer implementations of our reference designs
-Maintain stocks and inventory
Preferred is:
-Affinity with wearable devices and (bio)sensors
-Experience with ARM processors
-Experience with USB, UART, SPI,I2C, PPG sensors, Camera modules
The assignment is in principle on a full-time base, starting ASAP
