Electronics Test Engineer (Contract)

Budget range: €4.000 - 5.300 per month

As an Electronics Engineer, you will play a key role in developing predictive algorithms and patterns that predict electronic part failure through data mining of log files, you will also prove the effectiveness of solutions through testing, both before and after implementation.

You will be responsible for:
Identifying and developing patterns from error logs to predict early failure of units or components, including PCs, hard disks, displays etc., using data log files from interventional medical systems.
You will be responsible for mining repair data from repair centers and analyzing the field failure data to build statistical models. You will compare results with and without solutions to determine effectiveness of the fixes.
Conducting early integration tests on predefined prototypes and addressing supplier issues will also be your responsibility. You will follow up on any necessary actions.
Execute verification of units and parts according to your assignment, with expertise in EMC testing will be a plus.
Your role will require performing all tasks in line with established department processes.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:
· Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent
Minimum of 4+ years of relevant R&D working experience
Experience in product design, development, and maintenance of released products.
Excellent design documentation skills.
Result oriented and self-steering with a problem-solving attitude.
Ability to work independently & to act pro-actively.
Good command of English (both written and verbal).
Work experience in Agile Release Trains following SAFe framework will be a plus.
Quality mindset, A Six Sigma Green Belt / Black Belt will be a plus.
Experience and knowledge of EMC in design and testing will be a plus.

This role is a part of hardware department in Mechatronic Development Cluster within the IGT Fixed Systems R&D organization. The department consists of an open and multi-cultural team working on lifecycle management (LCM) and new product introductions (NPI).
