Electrical Designer

Your Role
As an Electrical Designer, you’ll be part of a multidisciplinary team working on the development of equipment in the mechatronics and medical domains. Your focus will be on designing, testing, and integrating electrical subsystems—ranging from e-cabinet designs to complex cabling and motion control solutions.
Your Responsibilities
Contribute to the electrical architecture of complex mechatronic modules and subassemblies
Design and document e-cabinets, electrical interfaces, cabling, connectors, and field boxes
Ensure compliance with medical standards such as IEC 60601 and ISO 13485
Create test specifications and execute tests to verify electrical designs
Support motion control implementations (e.g. servo technology) in equipment design
Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders, including customers
Work in line with CE, EMC, and UL regulations for healthcare and industrial systems

What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s also welcome)
2–5 years of experience, preferably in a high-tech or mechatronics environment
Strong team player with a customer-focused mindset
Practical experience with e-cabinet and electrical interface design
Familiarity with motion control systems and industrial automation components
Working knowledge of medical design regulations (IEC 60601, ISO 13485)
Proficient in EPLAN for electrical schematics and layout
Experience with CE, EMC, and UL requirements
Ability to travel up to 25% and work on-site at customer locations when needed
Preferably experienced with Microsoft Visio and Philips technical documentation systems
