Business Process Automation Manager
Join Philips Innovation Engineering’s dynamic Innovation Consulting team to drive and shape impactful innovation, improve innovation performance and realize business and innovation results across our global business. We’re looking for a talented external professional to join our team as contingent worker with a passion for innovation and cutting-edge health technology to help realize Philips’ ambitious goals. You will be part of a broader Innovation Management team of 80 experts in Sustainability, Innovation, Supply Chain, and Operations.
You will work as Customer Engagement Architect to support the design and execution of lifecycle notification strategies within our company’s Product Lifecycle Management Team. This role ensures timely, compliant, and value-driven customer communications through automation and involves close collaboration across both Business Units and Regional teams. As an AI practitioner, you bring data and AI innovations into your assignments and into the development of new tools for our team. You work in a hybrid model, min 3d/wk at the Philips Office on the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven.
Your Role
• Develop and manage notification and engagement strategies for global product lifecycle communications.
• Coordinate execution with BU Product Managers, RE Communication Officers, and PLCM PMO.
• Drive automation and documentation improvements within the PLCM notification engine (SCENE).
• Monitor delivery KPIs including stakeholder NPS, completion rates, and time-to-delivery.
• Lead cross-functional cadences and quarterly alignment meetings with key stakeholders.
• Apply both data and tools to provide recommendations and actionable insights to both the team(s) involved and their customers.
• Drive analysis activities, e.g. in-depth assessments of trends, competitive landscapes, current performance and emerging technologies.
• Contribute to process improvement efforts aimed at enhancing innovation effectiveness and outcomes.
• Collaborate with project leaders to develop project plans and budgets that align with organizational goals and client needs.
• Report on project deliverables to stakeholders and the internal team.
• Establish and maintain an operational network to support projects/areas you're involved in.
• Support consulting organization with internal processes and team activities.
You're the right fit if you have
• Strong understanding of enterprise systems such as CLUE, SFDC, and Smartpath; VBA skills are essential.
• Experience in automating customer engagement or lifecycle communication processes.
• Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management abilities across global teams.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to optimize workflows and reporting.
• A Master’s degree in an innovation, biomedical science or related discipline and outstanding scholarly results, supplemented with extra-curricular activities
• At least 2 years of experience in delivering complex projects aimed at enhancing innovation effectiveness and outcomes.
• You have foundational knowledge and a passion for the broader innovation domain: Design Thinking, Innovation Strategy, Product Marketing, Innovation culture and capability
• You have experience in working directly with clients.
• You bring a collaborative and fast learner mindset, eager to pick up and apply new approaches and tools to solve complex problems.
• You are an excellent communicator, presenter, fluent in English and preferably also in Dutch.
• You have advanced skills in using Excel, PowerPoint, data & analytics, and visualization tools
• You are comfortable using and explaining AI tools and can preferably apply AI tools in real workflows or business problems.

• Fluent in English (Dutch understanding preferred).
• Willing to work in a hybrid model, at the Philips office at the High tech Campus in Eindhoven (min. 3 days/week).
