Systems Engineer/MBSE Project Manager

Contract: With Randstad Company (with conversion after a year)

Our team needs a dynamic Systems Engineer with a strong desire to delve into technical project management. As an MBSE System Engineer, You will contribute to the implementation and application of MBSE in R&D departments across diverse Philips businesses. He/She will be able to act as a System Engineer and gradually transition to a project/change management role for projects related to the improvement of Systems Engineering capability within a central organization or lead MBSE transformative initiative within a business.

Your Team:

The MBSE group comprises ~25 highly skilled and motivated MBSE professionals working on different projects across all Philips businesses. These projects can cover every phase of the product life cycle, from development, manufacturing, market deployment, operation, and maintenance to phase-out.

Your Role:

• You will help to deploy MBSE capability throughout the global company by creating and providing training and coaching and/or leading a team of system engineers.

• In this role, from being on the front end of Philips product development through MBSE deployment activities, you will be able to explore every aspect of MBSE and product development at Philips.

• Our external engagement with other companies will allow you to build a strong network of same-minded professionals across the High-tech industry.

• Act as a Scrum Master for a team dedicated to the improvement of MBSE capability within Philips.

Requirements:

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Software, System, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer in an R&D environment, preferably in a regulated industry viz. Medtech, automotive, aeronautics, etc.

• Expertise in Requirements Engineering, Design, and Risk Management as a well-rounded System Engineer. Experience with model-based systems engineering tools like Cameo, Jama Soft, Doors, etc.

• Proven experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.Experience in Stakeholder and Project risk management, along with formal reporting to leadership.

• Excellent communication skills, capable of operating at different levels of architectural detail with a hands-on mentality.
