System Architect- IC (integrated circuits)

Join Philips IGT-D in Eindhoven, contributing to the advancement of Intra Vascular Ultrasound (IVUS) technology. We seek an experienced IC System Architect to lead the design and development of integrated circuits for next-gen IVUS catheters. Your role involves defining system architectures, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and providing technical leadership for a one-year project.

Working hours- 32/40 hrs a week

Contract: With a Randstad Company

Key Responsibilities:

  • System Architecture Design: Develop integrated circuit architectures for ultrasound applications, focusing on signal processing, beamforming, and image reconstruction.

  • Requirements Analysis: Work closely with stakeholders to understand and document system requirements, translating them into technical specifications for IC design.

  • Performance Optimization: Evaluate and enhance the performance of ultrasound ICs through analysis, simulation, and testing, identifying opportunities for optimization.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with hardware and software teams to seamlessly integrate IC components into ultrasound systems, ensuring alignment with project goals.

  • Technical Leadership: Provide guidance to IC designers, ensuring design goals are achieved within specified timelines.

  • Documentation and Reporting: Create comprehensive documentation for system architectures, design decisions, and implementation details. Generate reports and presentations to communicate project progress to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Master's or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

  • Experience: 5+ years focused on design architecture, development, and integration of transistor-level IC design. Knowledge of ultrasound imaging technology is essential.

  • Skills: Familiarity with Cadence, ultrasound imaging principles, and relevant IC design tools. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
