As a Supply Chain Planner, you closely work with the Supply Planning team and are responsible for the management of the Supply Chain and Capacity Planning activities for our EMEA Outsourced operations.
You will have an opportunity to:
Stakeholder management: You'll work closely with our Commercial Organizations, Manufacturing value streams, OEMs, and other key stakeholders, managing the entire supply chain process.
Master the Supply Chain: You'll plan delivery schedules, ensure product availability, and expertly manage supply orders within our SAP system. Your attention to detail will be crucial in maintaining accurate master data.
Process Improvement: You'll collaborate with supply centers, taking the lead in standardizing processes and operational decision-making. Your keen eye for improvement will help us become more efficient and effective.
Optimize Inventory: Managing integral inventory levels is a key part of your role, aimed at optimizing product availability while minimizing costs and excess stocks. You'll initiate corrective actions when necessary.
S&OP Guru: You'll lead our monthly S&OP process, defining and reviewing the mid and long-term supply plan, ensuring we're always prepared for what lies ahead.
Capacity Validation: You'll validate supplier capacity to ensure we meet Philips' mid and long-term requirements.
Smooth Phase In/Out: Managing the phase-in and phase-out process from a planning perspective is in your capable hands.
First Point of Contact: You'll be the go-to person for escalations between Philips and factories regarding supply chain matters.
To excel in this role, you should bring:
A Bachelor's or Master's degree and at least 5 years of related experience in supply chain, logistics, planning, or procurement, with a preference for SAP knowledge.
You have a proven track record as a demand/material or factory planner and managing supply chain activities.
Have analytical skills as counting/calculation is done a lot across data sets, Excel and SAP knowledge (or similar).
Fluency in English is a must, and if you speak other languages, it's a valuable asset.
