Contract: Perm contract with Randstad company

The Opportunity: Become a key player in the EC R&D Eindhoven team, a dynamic group of approximately 20 experienced engineers dedicated to providing global support for EC-Home, EC-Public, and EC-Professional. We specialize in (embedded) software development, software- and system-architecting, with a unique focus on wireless connectivity (BLE, NFC, Cellular).

Your Responsibilities:

As a Senior Embedded Software Engineer, you will collaborate with teams in Eindhoven, Bangalore, and various locations in the USA. Your responsibilities include:

  • Exhibit strong technical skills in (deep) embedded software development with C++, including HW/SW interfacing, debugging, and working in low-level RTOS environments.

  • Extensively work on (deep) embedded software development on Cortex M0…M4 series, STM32 series, or equivalent microprocessors.

  • Participating in requirements definition, design creation, development, and documentation

  • Ensuring software compliance with quality norms (with a preference for experience in Class II/III medical device development), engaging in design and code reviews, and participating in FMEAs.

  • Apply experience with connectivity protocols such as BLE, Cellular, and others to enhance product features and capabilities.

  • Developing automated unit tests and integration tests within chosen frameworks.

  • Estimating work, providing input for the planning process, and managing your own and the team's backlog

We're Looking For:

  • Education in Electronics or SW Engineering (Bachelor, Masters) with minimum 5 to 7 years of relevant work experience in (deep) embedded SW development on Cortex M0…M4 series, STM32 series, or equivalent microprocessors

  • Excellent knowledge and experience with the C++ programming language

  • Strong technical skills in embedded SW development, HW/SW interfacing, debugging, low-level RTOS environments

  • Experience with various build and test tools

  • Bonus points for experience in regulated environments, Class II/III medical device development

  • Bonus points for experience with connectivity protocols like BLE, Cellular, etc.
