Senior Software Engineer (Contract)
Location: High Tech Campus Eindhoven
Duration: 4 months
Hours/week: 24 or 32 hours
Budget range: €5.500 - 6.800 per month
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:Create high-quality working software through feature-driven development in an agile environment. You will actively participate in sprint planning, daily stand-up meetings, sprint reviews, sprint retrospectives, and backlog refinement. Your role will also involve contributing to the continuous improvement of the team, software, and processes by designing, coding, documenting, testing (automated), maintaining, and deploying software. You will support DevOps in deploying software, set and monitor performance metrics, and ensure technical solutions meet requirements with a strong focus on end-users, quality, performance, safety, and security. You will be responsible for:
Developing and maintaining high-quality software solutions.
Participating in agile ceremonies and actively contributing to team improvements.
Designing, coding, testing (automated), and deploying software in accordance with industry standards.
Setting, monitoring, and ensuring adherence to performance and quality metrics.
Providing technical solutions that align with end-user needs and regulatory standards.
Keeping abreast of technical advancements by studying state-of-the-art programming techniques, participating in educational opportunities, and maintaining professional networks.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:
Proven experience in software development with a strong focus on quality and performance.
Proficiency in agile methodologies and feature-driven development.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to design robust technical solutions.
Experience with DevOps practices and software deployment.
Ability to set, monitor, and meet performance metrics.
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Fluency in English.
