Your challenge
As a project manager Business cases within the Innovation and Strategy organization you will drive implementation, adoption and optimization of the R&D business case project including a new business modelling directive and related business case tool. You will contribute to the Philips results by driving compliance and performance via the implementation of the standardized business case tools and related portfolio management processes. This role offers you a great opportunity to combine a financial background with business acumen and project management skills. You will work with an extensive list of stakeholders in R&D/Marketing/Finance across the globe including BU management teams and the I&S management.

Your responsibilities
   Implement the new I2M Business case modelling directive and related advanced business case tool by increasing awareness, training BU teams and leading the change
   Guide requirement management team on the new business case tool securing one standard serving performance and compliance needs.
   Streamline and improve business case project with portfolio management process requirements
   Lead the business case steering board to define and oversee business case formatting and definitions across Philips for different business models

Your team
The Innovation and Strategy (I&S) Finance team is a strong international and dynamic team of approximately 18 people with diverse backgrounds. It is a global team based in Amsterdam, Eindhoven, Bangalore and Boston. The office location for this role is in Eindhoven.

The I&S Finance team is part of the Finance function and directly supports the central Innovation, Development, IP and New business units in Philips. You will report to the Controller Innovation & Strategy.


We are looking for
   Bachelor or Master degree in Business administration or Finance
   Minimum of 8 years’ experience in a finance position
   Experience in a multinational environment
   Advanced technical Excel skills is a must
   Pro-active and opportunity driven attitude
   Advanced finance and business acumen
   Strong change/project management and excellent communication skills
   Understanding of and affinity with Philips ways of working, values, cultural expectations and norms is preferred
   Capable of managing different level of stakeholders with various functional backgrounds
   Based in Eindhoven, but willing to travel domestic and abroad incidentally.
