Candidate Responsibilities:


As Quality Project Lead you will manage the overall Quality approach of the product development project team for Male Grooming products: this involves the quality of the released product, of the manufacturing process and of the supplied parts and assemblies. You will monitor and review the project quality status and you challenge the project manager and team on decisions that affect quality, in balance with costs and time.You will drive the implementation of (product) requirement management (specifications & verifications). You will also ensure systematic built up of evidence.You support your team with test planning, the use of Q-tools (e.g. design of experiments, data analysis, DfSS, FMEA), and the review of process capability studies and control plans. You will also evaluate the product design with regard to quality on functionality and on durability/reliability and you manage the Product Release process.As the Development Quality member in projects you will be the pivot between the various Q disciplines involved in the project, like Development Quality, Supplier Quality, Industrial Quality and Consumer Care.


Candidate Profile:


  • You have a Master or Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electronics (hardware/analog electronics).
  • You have several years work experience in multidisciplinary projects, being responsible for quality in a development environment or you have experience as a developer in projects and you would like to broaden your experience in the Quality competence.
  • You have a quality mindset and preferably you know Q tools like statistical engineering, Design for Six Sigma and/or Reliability Engineering.
  • You have:- strong communication and influencing skills- a proactive and supportive attitude towards the product development team, being a role model for the Quality function in the project team- understanding of how projects are managed and how Quality plays a role in this
