We are looking for a Quality Engineer.
In this role you have the opportunity to:
The Quality engineer is responsible for all related quality aspects within the new product introductions and the existing production lines for the packaging and assembly processes of high-end VCSEL packages. Provide day to day quality guidance to the design teams in the various phases of the projects.
He/she will work on multiple projects in an international environment. The job includes frequent travels (more than 10%) to suppliers and customers in Asia and Europe.
In this role you are responsible for:
-Ensure all customer specific requirements are correctly managed and implemented.
-Support the AQP/APQP process where required to ensure that all new products comply fully with the customer requirements, including DV/PV testing/ FMEA, Process Capability, Gauge R & R.
-Be able to prescribe all relevant and required quality deliverables within a project and able to enforce (internal, at supplier’s and contract manufacturers), follow up and create all prescribed quality deliverables/ documents for these projects.
-Developing and implementing quality management systems in the organization.
-Creating and maintaining company documentation such as (quality) manuals, (quality) procedures and Standard Operating Procedures.

Proven Quality background, working in either Supplier -, manufacturing/production or product development environment. Promotor of Process/Quality Improvement. TS16949 awareness
-Minimum 7 year experience in LED, photonics packaging, semiconductors or advanced packaging environment.
-Minimum 5 year experience in a relevant quality engineering position.
-Experience in high volume assembly/manufacturing processes.
-FMEA experience/moderator.
-Developing Standards, Methods and Procedures.
-Fluent in English, Dutch and/or German, Chinese is a plus.
-TS16949 awareness
-IT literate in Excel, Word & PowerPoint PPAP trained Quality management systems
