Quality Data Analyst (Randstad Contingent Worker)


 

This position is fully remote and can be home-based anywhere in the United States but Nashville, TN is preferred. 


 

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Driving quality operational excellence results delivery by managing data extracts, data packaging for external release, compilation and analysis of data definitions, meaning, usage, labeling standards and other source system information to produce IT consumable information.


 

You will be responsible for:

• Analyze data trend performance across multiple subsystems and developing operational and strategic improvement proposals to mitigate/improve significant trend changes.

• Managing data extracts, data packaging for external release (to customers in a report or via Excel/PowerBI dashboards.

• Compilation and analysis of data definitions, meaning, usage, labeling standards and other source system information to produce IT consumable information.

• Leverages proactive measures and problem solving methodologies; to identify key improvements needed.

• Identifies improvement opportunities across multiple businesses.

• Drives the implementation of continuous improvement efforts across multiple businesses.

• Drive value stream mapping to define As-Is Analysis and the transition to Future State of key QMS processes.

• Develop & Deploy Business dashboards and data models per requirements - including documentation and validation testing.

• Interact with users to train & demonstrate new features, provide support, answer questions and take in feedback for further enhancements.


 

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Math or Data Information Systems OR 4 years’ experience in data analysis/reporting (Masters highly desired)

• More than 5 years of experience in related role (experience in data analysis and/or preparing database reports (Excel and in SQL)

• Experience analyzing and preparing recommendations on process improvement.

• Experience with Excel query/ETL processes

• Experience in PowerBI.

• Experience in Azure

• Experience in PowerApps

• Preferred Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt (Not Required)

• Preferred Project Management Training

• Preferred experience in Quality Tools and Processes (e.g., GD&T, APQP, DFMEA, PFMEA, PPAP, VOC, SPC, 8D, 6σ, etc.)

• Knowledge and experience in IVD, Pharmaceutical, and or Medical Device Industry; Industry Standards for Validation; Industrial Statistics, Federal cGMPs & QSRs, ISO 13485, Risk Management regulations and application (ISO14971)

• Project management experience.

• Systems database testing experience.

• Verbal and written communications skills to interact with internal customers, management and vendors.

• Analytical, organizational and planning skills.

• Strong problem solving, analytics and critical thinking skills to evaluate data from multiple sources and coalesce into end to end systems analysis & interactions

• Training in Lean Principles, PDCA, A3 and Kaizen facilitation

• Strong leadership skills with ability to learn and apply new concepts and overcome obstacles with change

• Understanding of data modeling, dimensional and relational concepts- extract, transform, load processes of data, data cleansing

• Strong knowledge in data visualization design

• Results driven with the ability to take initiative, handle multiple tasks and shifting priorities and meet deadlines.

• Strong communication and coaching skills (written and oral)

• Strong ability & desire to assimilate and apply knowledge as well as spread acquired knowledge and experience to other team members.
