You are responsible for:

  • Automated Equipment Coordination: Leading the development, sourcing, and installation of related tools and equipment, ensuring they meet all technical requirements.

  • Validation & Qualification: Proofing process suitability through IQ/OQ/PQ and reporting on Process Performance Qualification (PPQ) runs to release equipment for production.

  • Ramp-up & Hand-over: Providing critical support during the manufacturing ramp-up phase until a formal handover to regular production is complete.

  • Master Data & Changes: Maintaining accountability for manufacturing BOMs, routing Master data, and implementing PDLM-driven design changes at both Philips factories and suppliers.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:
  • Education: Bachelor or Master’s degree in Industrial, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).

  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a similar industrialization or engineering role.

  • Test Equipment Expertise: Direct experience in the co-development of industrial automated test equipment.

  • Software Skills: Experience with software design for industrial automation and programming skills in high-level software.

  • Project Background: Proven track record in design transfer and manufacturing transfer projects.

  • Technical Toolkit: Proficiency in process validation (pMap, pFMEA, IQ, OQ, PQ), SPC, and DfMAT.

  • Mindset: A self-propelling team player with a continuous improvement and quality-driven approach.

  • Communication: Strong personal and communication skills in English.

In return, we offer you:

Working at Philips is more than a job. It’s a calling to create a healthier society through meaningful work. As a contractor via Randstad, you will be embedded in an inspiring, international R&D environment (IGT-S) where you can tackle complex challenges and broaden your technical expertise.
