Planner & Logistic Engineer (Contract)
Location: Drachten
Duration Assignment: 12 months (with possible extension)
Contract: via a Randstad company
Hours/week: 40
Budget range: 3250,- t/m 4000,- per month
In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Make life better!In this role, you challenge your analytical, planning, and engineering skills by driving improvements in the Value Stream Cutting Elements & Metal Parts (CE&M). You will operate within the Operational Group CE&M, collaborating closely with the Production Manager to optimize both operational and strategic supply chain planning, including NPI projects and value stream improvements.

You will be responsible for:Production planning: Executing and improving short-term (weekly) and mid-term (monthly S&OP) planning processes.
Operational alignment: Acting as a linking pin between supply planners and production managers.
Masterdata management: Creating and maintaining master data in SAP for VSO.
Logistical support: Providing insights into shop floor operations and production capacities.
Improvement projects: Leading small value stream mapping-based improvement projects and participating in larger innovation projects.
Forecasting: Predicting stock levels within your scope and aligning with stakeholders across the supply chain.
Training: Implementing improvements and training stakeholders on new processes.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:
Technical Competences:
HBO / BSc / MSc in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a comparable field.
Work experience in logistics within a production environment, including planning and engineering.
Proficiency with SAP (knowledge and experience preferred).
Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
Experience with value stream mapping (preferred).
Strong skills in Excel (preferred).
Behavioral Competences:
Proactive mindset with a process-focused approach.
Strong communication and social skills, preferably fluent in Dutch (to engage with shop floor teams).
Management Skills:
Strong project management skills, including the ability to lead small, multi-disciplinary teams.
Digital proficiency, with the ability to analyze and interpret data for informed decision-making.
