iOS Multiplatform Developer (Freelance)

The aim of the Engineering Solutions Connectivity Platform is to provide an end-to-end connectivity solution to Philips-internal and external businesses enabling them to realize their business ideas with meaningful innovations.
It will make connectivity work every single time, in any environment, for every user, at the lowest possible cost without compromising on quality, security and privacy.
We develop and maintain mobile connectivity libraries (SDKs on Android, iOS, and Linux) to communicate with cloud and embedded platforms via proprietary protocols. We use a mix of native languages (Swift, Kotlin and Java) and Kotlin Multiplatform. You will work in a small Agile team of currently 7 people, part of a bigger platform of 30~ people. You will work together with 2 other iOS developers and 3 Android developers.

We are looking for
We are looking for an enthusiastic Senior Software Engineer (Grade 60) who will work together with other engineers in ES, HTC37 Eindhoven, and with engineers from Philips Innovation Campus Bangalore, India to further develop and maintain the (iOS) mobile connectivity components.

General:
Swift experience 3-5 years
SDK/Library development - no app/UI
Long term commitment (at least 1 year)
Experience with Network technologies (HTTPS, MQTT, TCP/IP)
Experience with Bluetooth Low Energy
Experience with Test Driven Development
Willing to pick up DevOps tasks
