Position: Interoperability Test Engineer

About Us: Join our global team at The Interoperability Competence Center (IOCC), where we partner in enabling interoperable solutions to make information from a system available and usable in any other applicable system. We also collaborate across Eindhoven and Bangalore to test Philips products. We specialize in interoperability, partnering with product development teams to ensure our solutions adhere to global standards. Our expertise is in DICOM, FHIR, HL7, IHE, and ILS.

Contract: Perm contract with Randstad company

Role: An interoperability test engineer at the IOCC defines and performs tests required to verify conformance to the Interoperability Standards of Philips platforms, systems, and solutions developed by product teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct interoperability tests for Philips platforms and solutions.

  • Perform automated/manual software testing, documenting plans, protocols, and reports.

  • Lead interoperability verification projects.

  • Provide expertise in software test strategies and standards verification.

  • Coach team members on testing, standards, and clinical workflows.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field with 5+ years of experience in software development/testing.

  • ISTQB Foundation certified.

  • Proficient in test design, automation, and execution.

  • Strong troubleshooting skills.

  • Knowledge of medical systems and interoperability standards (DICOM, IHE, FHIR) is an advantage.

  • Global team collaboration experience.

  • Customer-centric attitude with excellent communication and documentation skills.
