In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Make life better! In this role, you challenge yourself as an Interoperability Test Engineer by defining and performing tests required to verify conformance to the Interoperability Standards of Philips platforms, systems, and solutions developed by product teams. You will be at the forefront of ensuring that Philips systems meet global interoperability standards in healthcare.

You will be responsible for:

  • Performing software testing, both automated and manual, to ensure systems meet interoperability standards.

  • Documenting test plans, protocols, and reports.

  • Automating tests and leading test activities in interoperability verification projects within the Interoperability Competence Center (IOCC).

  • Providing test expertise to define and drive software test strategies and initiatives for interoperability standards verification.

  • Coaching other team members on software testing, standards, and related clinical workflows.



To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.

  • ISTQB Foundation® certification.

  • Up-to-date knowledge of software testing.

  • At least 5 years of work experience in software development and/or testing.

  • Strong skills in test design, testing concepts, test automation, and test execution.

  • Strong troubleshooting skills.

  • Knowledge of medical systems and interoperability standards (e.g., DICOM, IHE, FHIR) is an advantage.

  • Ability to work effectively in a global team.

  • Customer-centric attitude with excellent communication and documentation skills.
