PHILIPS is seeking an Integration Engineer to join our Integration Lab (ILab) team within the Software Components and Capabilities Group. The main goal of this team is to revolutionize healthcare through connected solutions.

Contract: Permanent at a Randstad company (Transfer to PHILIPS after a year)

Hours/week: 40

Role Overview:

As a Integration Engineer, you will have the unique opportunity to work across our diverse portfolio of Philips products, contributing to the development and enhancement of innovative solutions. You will be responsible for evaluating the design of existing systems, devising improvements, and implementing changes that drive better solutions. Your expertise in continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) will be crucial as you bring these solutions to life both on the cloud and on-premise. You will combine existing and purchased modules to create cohesive components that seamlessly integrate into functional systems. Your final touch will be to rigorously test these integrated solutions, ensuring their quality and reliability.

Responsibilities:

  1. Innovate and Improve: Evaluate the design of existing systems within the Philips product portfolio, proposing changes and enhancements to optimize performance, usability, and functionality.

  2. Continuous Integration and Deployment: Employ your proficiency in continuous integration and deployment to bring your proposed solutions to life, both on cloud and on-premise platforms.

  3. Component Integration: Skillfully combine pre-existing and purchased modules into cohesive components, ready to seamlessly integrate into functional systems.

  4. Quality Assurance: Execute thorough testing of integrated solutions, ensuring their reliability, functionality, and adherence to quality standards.


Qualifications & Experience required:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

    with a minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps, Fullstack, system integration, and testing.

  • Strong proficiency in continuous integration and deployment methodologies, with hands-on experience in cloud and on-premise deployments.

  • Experience with full-stack development (JavaScript, React, Node JS)

  • Experience evaluating and enhancing existing system designs.

  • Experience with automation of SW testing, delivery, and operations.

  • Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
