Software Design Quality Engineer - AI,Your role: As a Software Quality Engineer - AI you will work closely with the Data & AI team (data scientists, data analysts, AI Engineers & SW developers), and product teams to define, implement, and execute quality assurance strategies tailored to development, deployment and maintenance of AI features. You will support inshaping AI features and related train, test and validation strategies. AI model development phases focusing on data strategies. establishing the evaluation strategies and associated claims in AI development and drive quality standards across AI-driven features. Contribute to risk assessments, bias mitigation reviews, data requirements, and regulatory audits for AI as needed, practical experience with regulatory audit support is advantageous. Ensure adherence to regulatory, ethical, and organizational standards for AI software quality, transparency, and compliance. Lead and participate in AI training and knowledge sharing sessions. And communicate findings, insights, and recommendations on AI and AI tools effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders. You're the right fit if: You have acquired 4+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or Software Quality Engineering, including at least 2 years in machine learning, AI, or advanced analytics environments. You hold a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field. You are knowledgeable in relevant Software development methods, external standards for Quality Management Systems for medical devices (e.g., ISO 13485, ISO 14971, ISO 62304, MDR, 21 CFR Part 11 and 820, ISO 9001) & compliance requirements (GDPR, EU AI act) in regulated industries. You are an excellent communicator, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts (e.g., working principles or results of an AI/ML model) to a diverse audience. Also, you are a social professional who is team-oriented, collaborative, and who can operate independently. How we work together We believe that we are better together than apart. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the companys main facilities, generally at the customers or suppliers locations. This role is an office-based role. Your role:
