Freelance Experienced Devops Engineer – Measurements Frontend/Monitor SW (m/f/d)

Enable your DevOps approach and the technical skills to provide communication, integration, automation, and close partnership among all the people needed to plan, develop, test, deploy, release, and maintain software for our Measurements Frontend and monitor SW. You will be a key person in defining and creating the Software Development Infrastructure (SDI) with technical challenges by being pro-active and someone who can drive change.

Taks:

- Participating as the DevOps specialist in the development projects and maintenance activities to deliver the best infrastructure and automation for continuous integration, continuous testing and releasing.

- Teaming up with other DevOps engineers in a multi-site team and create full automated CICD pipelines for different product development projects

- Implement DevOps practices, demonstrating successful deployments and optimizations.

- Taking ownership for setting up build and test management frameworks, storage management, monitoring activities, etc.

- Build pipelines for embedded systems including usage of J-Link and various IAR for Windows and Linux.

- Be able to understand quickly existing implementations and concepts and extend or improve where needed.

Requirements:

- At least a Bachelor degree in SW Engineering, Informatics, Computer Science or equivalent.

- Minimum of 10 years experience in Software Development, preferably within DevOps teams.

- Hands-on experience with GitHub, Yocto, Docker, Azure DevOps.

- Expertise in version control using GitHub and automation workflows with GitHub Actions and GitHub submodules for CI/CD.

- Experience in automated testing methodologies and knowledge of testing frameworks within a DevOps environment.

- Knowledge of Static code analysis tools like Coverity and Sonarqube.

- Knowledge of Conan package manager and/or Kubernetes will be a plus.

- Previous involvement in Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum and SAFe especially for scaling Agile practices in larger organizations.
