The Business Portfolio Pricing Manager acts as the liaison between Business, Markets, CoEs and Functions to ensure harmonization of key portfolio and operational processes to maximize business efficiency and productivity. The BPPM leads portfolio-level corporate projects for the business, such as strategic portfolio management, pricing, bleeder management, quality norm management etc. In addition, the PLM supports functional efforts that deliver portfolio efficiency, as well as business efforts that drive for delivery of short-term P&L plans across markets.



Role Responsibilities


· Work closely with the Custodian of Commercial Policy and Sales CoE to ensure alignment of price setting across the Business Categories in alignment with market requirements and commercial pricing framework.


· Own the consistency and coherence of the pricing, life cycle, promo and distribution strategy of the Business Unit Global Portfolio, by ensuring timely input and partnering with CMMs and Product Life Cycle Manager.


· Define a Business-specific framework for value-based pricing strategy and ensure adherence and harmonization.


· Support strategic customer deals from a global perspective, especially when they require new commercial models and/or subject matter expertise.


· Train the CMM community about Pricing, Promo and Distribution strategy and implementation processes.



Role Requirements


· Pricing and/or business category background.


· Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and modeling.


· Ability to think and act strategically and demonstrate process understanding and operational excellence.


· Ability to influence and develop relationship across functional stakeholders and key decision makers.


· Ability to analyze and forecast development based on historical data, anticipate trends ahead of the curve and drive operational improvement of existing ways of working.


· Having broad expertise or unique knowledge, uses skills to contribute to development of company objectives and principles and to achieve goals in creative and effective ways.


· Regularly interacts with senior management or executive levels.


· Contributes in the policy making and key improvement initiatives.


· Good communication skills / stakeholder management skills.


· 7 years of relevant experience on revenue growth management.



Must have


Familiarity with pricing, revenue growth management.


Worked within Philips or like wise organisation as Philips.



Hybrid way of working


Minimum of 2 days in Amsterdam
