Your Role
As an Embedded FPGA Engineer at Philips, you will play a key role in shaping the future of healthcare through innovative digital solutions. You will be part of Innovation Engineering, a central competency within the Electronics Systems & IoT Department, contributing to the design, realization, integration, and testing of mathematical algorithms for signal processing. With an entrepreneurial mindset, you will drive improvement initiatives, adapt to evolving technologies, and advance your personal development in a dynamic, high-tech environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement hardware-accelerated software solutions for Philips' medical products.
Contribute to the design, integration, and testing of mathematical algorithms for signal processing.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to bring cutting-edge technology to life.
Stay ahead of emerging FPGA and embedded technologies, ensuring continuous innovation.
Adapt to changing project requirements and contribute to ongoing process improvements.
You're the Right Fit If
You have 5+ years of experience in a high-tech environment.
You have strong technical expertise in C++, FPGA design, VHDL/Verilog, and embedded software development.
You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Informatics, Embedded Systems, or a related field.
You have a strong foundation in math, hard sciences, and analytical problem-solving.
You are experienced in working with FPGA libraries, compilers, and optimizing algorithms for hardware acceleration.
