Description:
As an Electronics Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and improving electronic hardware for lifecycle management (LCM) projects. Your expertise will contribute to the enhancement and sustainability of existing products, ensuring they meet performance, quality, and compliance requirements.
The Role:
You will work within a multidisciplinary team, focusing on the redesign, optimization, and validation of electronic circuits and systems. Your work will ensure product reliability and manufacturability while supporting continuous improvements in the development process.
Key Responsibilities:
Circuit Design & Development: Design and optimize electronic circuits, including analog, digital, and mixed-signal designs.
Component Lifecycle Management: Evaluate and replace obsolete components to extend product life.
PCB Design & Verification: Develop schematics, collaborate on PCB layout, and perform design validation.
Prototyping & Testing: Build and test prototypes, ensuring compliance with performance requirements.
Troubleshooting & Debugging: Analyze and resolve design issues through simulations and lab testing.
Compliance & Standards: Ensure designs meet industry regulations and quality standards.
Collaboration: Work closely with firmware, mechanical, and system engineers to optimize product performance.
Continuous Improvement: Support design process improvements, cost reductions, and manufacturability enhancements.
Qualifications:
Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
Experience: At least 5 years of experience in electronics design, with a focus on hardware development.
Technical Knowledge: Expertise in circuit design, PCB development, and component selection.
Tools & Technologies: Experience with Altium, Cadence, SPICE simulations, and embedded system integration.
Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical skills for debugging and optimizing electronic designs.
Preferred: Experience in medical devices, IGT systems, or Six Sigma methodologies.
