Do you love the challenge of taking a project from concept to reality? Are you a hands-on problem-solver who enjoys building and tinkering? Philips Innovation Engineering is looking for a engineer to join our team. At our lab, you’ll work on a wide variety of electronic, electrical, and mechatronic systems. You’ll get to roll up your sleeves and bring ideas to life, whether that means building a new prototype from scratch or modifying an existing system. This isn't just a desk job—we're looking for someone who has a genuine passion for technology, someone who loves to take things apart and understand how they work. But we also need more than just great hands-on skills. We're looking for someone who can think beyond the build—a person who understands the importance of clear documentation and can help translate a client's rough idea into a workable, well-documented project. You will work directly with our clients, so strong communication skills are a must.

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • A true team player

  • Flexible and adaptable

  • Creative and solution-oriented

  • Curious and eager to learn

  • Ready to get their hands dirty!

Required skills and experience:

  • Ability to translate ideas into physical prototypes

  • Experience with soldering and understanding electronic schematics

  • Continuously driven to improve your skills and our processes

  • Experience with 3D printing and CAD systems (SolidWorks is a plus)

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a similar field.

  • OR Vocational Education in a relevant field with at least 4 years of experience in System Architecture, Hardware Engineering, or a similar role.

If you have a passion for building, a knack for creative problem-solving, and a love for taking things apart and putting them back together, we'd love to hear from you. You will be contracted by a Randstad company.
