As mechanical developer being the integrator, translating all knowledge obtained/available via other team members, into proposed mechanical prototypes and being intermediary to the mechanical counterpart in the business innovation team working on the product design. Able towork from concept development to detailed design. Contributing to the multi-disciplinary TEG project Co-operating with the business innovation team.


To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

State-of-the-art mechanical development techniques and CAD.

Knowledge of the design of mechanical constructions in plastic and/or metal and preferably you familiar with the manufacturability aspects (mold/tooling design), analysis (strength, stiffness)

Master/Bachelor in mechanical engineering.

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the field of product development, proven capabilities in innovative product development.

Creative and having passion for (complex) technical puzzles, always working towards data driven decision making.

Able to have both high level architectural overview of the product in development as well as detailing small parts.

Able to work and act as independent mechanical development professional.

Pro-active attitude, showing ownership and bringing proposals to the team.

Strong drive, able to coordinate own activities, excellent coordination and communication skills.

Quality driven and experience with Design for Six Sigma is a plus Experience in development of medical products is a plus.

Able to work/communicate in an international environment.
