Application developer and solution architect
for Philips’ Quarterly and Annual reporting hub (Content Management Solution tool)

Technical competencies:
•  Proven experience client- and server-side JavaScript (ES6);
•  Proven experience with CSS, SASS, LESS and associated compilers;
•  Proven experience of working with and designing complex web service driven internet facing applications;
•  Knowledge about Web Application Security and experience with setting up secure web applications;
•  Understanding of Content Management Solutions (CMS) concepts
• Experience with Tangelo is a must;
•  XML, XSL, xPath and XSD skills;
•  XSL:FO and processing processes to render PDF files from XML based content;
•  Understanding of encryption protocols such as SSH and HTTPS;
•  Experience with Amazon Web Services (setting up EC2 servers and services, working with policies, working with load balanced applications);
•  Windows 2012 Server and Unix systems experience;
•  Experience with Docker, Docker repositories;
•  Understanding and experience with GIT and GIT based workflows;
•  Understanding of CDN networks - especially Amazon Cloud Front;
•  Understanding of XBRL, Form 20-F and SEC filing processes;
•  Basic understanding of concepts used by printing agencies (PDF specifications and possibilities, color profiles, embedded typefaces, etc.);
•  Understanding Single Sign On technologies such as oAuth and SAML;
•  Proven experience in working with multi-lingual content, processes and systems.

Personal competencies
•  Able to work under heavy pressure (Philips’ external publication are not flexible);
•  Ability to work at night and during the weekend to ensure deadlines are met;
•  Able to handle multiple work streams simultaneously, where multiple (3rd) parties have to deliver parts of the end solution;
•  In time notification of any issues and able to manage expectations (experience in a complex project organization).
