Position: Technical Writer

Contract: Via Randstad company

Duration: 1 year (with extension/conversion to PHILIPS)

Join us at Philips and be a pivotal part of our global team as a Service Technical Writer & Illustrator for Ambient Experience. In this role, you will play a vital role in crafting and updating documentation and media for service engineers, contributing to the development of innovative service concepts. Operating within a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment, you'll collaborate closely with Customer Services, Marketing, and Development teams.

Your Team: You'll be part of a dynamic and innovative team dedicated to enhancing our service business. Collaborating closely with Field Service, Marketing, and R&D teams worldwide, our collective aim is to enable our customers to deliver exceptional care to their patients consistently.

Your Role:

  • Create and update end-user documentation within project deadlines.

  • Convert drawings to various formats (e.g., DWG, PDF) and ensure compatibility with our document design templates.

  • Gather essential information from Market and Business Units to develop comprehensive service documentation.

  • Guide Customer Services and Development experts to ensure the creation of high-quality content.

  • Facilitate document reviews, handle feedback, and secure approvals.

  • Coordinate translation, localization, and final delivery of documents.

  • Manage project plans for documentation delivery and revisions.

  • Drive continuous improvements in documentation quality based on customer feedback.

We're Seeking:

  • A Bachelor's degree in engineering or English language with a passion for technical subjects.

  • Preferably, a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. Experience in a technical development environment is advantageous.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across functional teams and global organizations.

  • Experience with ST4 is preferred, along with affinity for Data Engineering and familiarity with CAD drawing tools (preferred but not mandatory).

Tools in Use: You'll work with tools such as Windchill, ARBOR text, PDF converters, and other essential software to fulfill your responsibilities effectively.
