Technical Community Manager


We are looking for a qualified Technical Community Manager to join our team. If you are a tech-savvy professional, with a clear vision on how to grow communities and the attitude to make it happen, we would like to meet you.

Our ideal candidate has a few years of experience in building technical B2B communities. You are willing to share this experience with 3 technical subject matter experts and work with them in bringing the communities to life.

As part of the Marketing & Digital team of Philips Innovation Services your challenge is to:

• Create the communities and keep them alive
• Drive awareness for the community
• Engage the target audience
• Manage the content calendar with the SMEs
• Organize and participate in (online) events to build community
• Drive timely creation of content
• Setup a set of relevant metrics, make sure these are measured and reported
• Monitor and report on feedback and online reviews; signal customer needs
• Ensure brand consistency

Requirements
• Proven work experience as a community manager
• Experience with launching community initiatives (e.g. building an online forum, launching an ambassador program, creating an event series and (co)writing an email newsletter)
• Ability to identify and track relevant community metrics (e.g. repeat attendance at events)
• Good communication & writing skills (English)
• Hands on experience with social media & communication platforms (like SocialCast), webinars, email (like MAPP)
• Ability to interpret online customer engagement metrics
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Technical affinity
