Hours/week: 40
Budget range: €3.800 - 6.500 per month

In this exciting role, you will lead the way in defining and managing product requirements, testing, and verification for cutting-edge projects spanning the entire product life cycle. From development to market deployment, operation, and maintenance, you will play a pivotal role in creating exceptional products that make a real impact.
Your Key Responsibilities:
As a System Engineering Expert - Requirements, Test, and Verification, you will:
Collaborate with R&D teams to develop SMART, testable requirements.
Oversee system engineering information and its traceability in our database environment.
Assist project leaders, system architects, and lead engineers in crafting risk-based integration and testing strategies.
Develop actionable integration and verification plans, ensuring products meet specified requirements.
Create comprehensive test requirements and designs.
Prepare and establish the testing infrastructure in line with project timelines.
Generate, supervise, and review test protocols.
Take ownership of test execution, sample management, and test reporting.
Coordinate with test centers and lab facilities to execute the verification plan.
Drive global adoption of best practices in requirements, risk, and test management through training and coaching.
Identify areas for improvement and develop actionable proposals and tailored training materials.
Your Team:
You'll work with our Quality and Reliability Engineering department as part of the Test and Verification Engineering team. This diverse team of over 25 technical experts is spread across the Netherlands, India, and the US, actively contributing their extensive experience to complex, innovative projects.
What We're Looking For:
To excel in this role, you should have:
A PhD or Masters (MSc) degree in Physics, Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a business R&D environment.
Strong preference for experience in a regulated environment or a medical device company.
A proven track record in applying requirements management, test, and verification best practices.
Preferred experience in manufacturing quality control.
In-depth knowledge and a proven track record in implementing requirement engineering, risk management, and test management concepts.
DfSS Black Belt certification or equivalent experience.
Strong analytical and architectural thinking, physical insight, flexibility, and a hands-on approach.
Excellent reporting and documentation skills.
Experience with requirements or test management tools.
Outstanding consultancy skills and the ability to connect with project and business stakeholders.
Good project management skills.
