Salary range: €4100,- t/m €5700,- (Gross per month) + Benefits
We are looking for a System Test Automation Engineer to significantly advance the quality and reliability of our Image-Guided Therapy (IGT) systems. This role is central to integrating high-quality automated testing into the core system verification process.
The ideal candidate will be a technical expert in automation, focusing on dramatically reducing verification lead time, increasing test coverage, and ensuring early detection of critical system defects in a regulated environment.
Your Role:
Design and develop system-level automated test scripts and tools using technologies like C# and Reqnroll (Gherkin), ensuring alignment with product requirements.
Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline (Azure DevOps, Jenkins) and execute them across diverse physical and virtual system configurations.
Analyze and optimize test performance, addressing instability and flakiness to ensure fast and accurate test execution.
Participate in peer reviews to maintain high standards for code quality, consistency, and re usability.
Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) and coach for system test automation, promoting best practices across the team.
Collaborate closely with developers and enabler teams to integrate necessary automation keywords, adapters, and tools.
Contribute to the improvement of test infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., mainline verification readiness, continuous nightly regression testing).
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent with over 5-10 years of experience in test automation. (Preferably from regulated domain)
Programming: C#, Gherkin, Python.
Frameworks: Reqnroll, NUnit, Cucumber (or equivalent).
CI/CD & DevOps: Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Git, VTP pipelines.
Automation Focus: Keyword-driven and UI/adapter-based testing, test case conversion.
Methodologies: System testing, regression, reliability, and performance testing
